April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. I know it is a hard thing to talk about or even think about but it is real and even happens right here in Billings.

Family Tree Center and Billings Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Center along with The Breakfast Exchange Club will be planting pinwheels for display today in front of Metra Park to encourage all of us to get involved. Us as a community should come out and support. They are encourage all of us to get involved in the efforts to ensure that Billings and surrounding towns has the community resources to support families and provide safe and healthy experiences for children.

The pinwheel display will stay up for the  whole month of April in front of Metra Park and Child Abuse Prevention signage will remain in the lobby as well.

The Family Tree Center will once again be partnering with the PBR this year. Everyone who attends tonight (Friday April 7th) will be receive a pinwheel.

Every child deserves a happy healthy wonderful life. Blue is the color for National Child Abuse Prevention month and you can look forward to seeing The Breakfast Exchange Club servers at the Metra during the PBR wearing blue. I encourage you to do the same.

The pinwheels represent so many little sweet children and so many families who have go through this.  They also represent what  every child deserves.
