Remember 9-11 in Laurel

Hard to believe it's been 17 years since 9/11.  I know you remember it like yesterday. I do. And I'll certainly never forget where I was and how we felt when it happened. I heard about this event happening in Laurel through tonight (9/11/18) and when I drove past it last night, I had to stop and check it out.

In the field to the north of the Laurel Middle School is an awesome display of 1,000 full sized US flags. Put on by the Laurel Exchange Club through donations and fundraising, it is a really neat way to pause and reflect. On our country, our servicemen and women and first responders.
