‘Sleeping With A Friend’ By Neon Trees-My Hump Day Track Of The Week

I like this week's pick for 'Hump Day Track Of The Week', but it's also confused me a bit too.  That's part of why I picked it.

This bands video is totally weird(or rather different) to me.  I am not used to seeing some of the stuff that they do in this video, or have  been around anyone who does or watches this stuff either. Remember, I am from small town SD and this lead singer looks so pale he's almost vampirical(is that even a word?). And hat's up with the pants anyways?

Don't get me wrong though. I like the song, it's music and I like the vocals too.  The video is a bit hard to follow and yet pretty entertaining. Confused yet?  Good, you are not alone and neither am I now.

Here's a neat fact about how they got their band name from Wikipedia:

The band's name originates from the lighted trees on the In-N-Out Burger signs, which inspired Tyler Glenn. In a strange twist of fate, it was later learned that Branden Campbell's father, Steve Campbell, installed the exact Neon Trees in the In-N-Out that inspired Glenn while working for a sign company out of Las Vegas
