Everybody loves bowling, even if you suck at it. We took the kids bowling on New Year's Eve this year and I sucked. Don't ever let anyone tell you bowling is like riding a bike. Because it's not. You will absolutely lose your bowling skills if you don't do it very often. I think my first game was like a 79 or something really pathetic.

While my scores were crappy, it was still a lot of fun. Bowling is great and it's even better when it's for a good cause. We met with a couple of bikers from the R.O.A.D. R.A.S.H. motorcycle riders group today and they're having their Strikes Against Cancer bowling fundraiser March 28th at Sunset Bowl (1625 Central Ave).

Registration fee is $100 per 4-player team and the tournament starts at 1 PM. Single elimination tournament with $400 cash to the winning team. Proceeds from the event go to help out Tysen Baeskens, a local boy fighting cancer. Food will be available for purchase as well as a full bar (21+). Tournament organizers would like to have everyone registered by March 14th.  For more info and to register your bowling team, find R.O.A.D. R.A.S.H. on Facebook.
