There is some sort of ag convention going on here at the Double Tree and the equipment on display is amazing. When I was a kid, we grew some of our own food, but never anything on a big scale. That's probably why I never seriously considered a career in agriculture. It seems to be a "family business" kind of thing. However, I'm pretty sure that if they would've had vehicles like this when I was making those life choices, I would've been all over it. Some of these things are amazing. I'm pretty sure they won't let me ride in one, but I'll never know until I ask.

Oh, and before anybody points out that only a very small percentage of farmers and ranchers get to use this kind of stuff, I should make it clear that I realize that. They don't have the sticker prices on the displays, but from what I can tell online, the big one out front would fetch somewhere between 200 and 300 thousand bucks. Definitely cost prohibitive to your average farm.

Even though I probably won't be able to even sit in any of these, I did manage to get a picture of Jess and Kaitlyn inside the Maxi Grapple.
