Regardless of what you think of the "climate change" debate, I thought this Bozeman business was pitching a very interesting concept at the global climate summit in Dubai recently.
Every time we drive by, the small solar farm by the interstate seems to be falling into more disrepair. The company has five other solar farms in Montana. Are they too?
Alan Olson: "The only increase we see coming down the pike in increased refining capacity is in China. Refining capacity in Europe has dropped. In the United States it's dropped, but the Chinese are increasing refining capacity. And that is not for export."
We lost Colstrip 1 & 2, and now they want to tear down hydropower dams. This is one of the cleanest "greenest" forms of energy we have right now. Don't we need MORE electricity right now, rather than less?
Why are we turning to countries like Iran, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia for oil when we could be turning to Montana, North Dakota, and Texas for oil? Plus, with oil prices skyrocketing, is production in the Bakken oil fields already ramping up due to price alone?
