I've been researching some back-up plans in case we decide to not participate in the schools online learning and here are a few options (and costs) that I found.

RiverStone Health offers no-cost school immunizations every year. However, due to a backlog of COVID-19 case investigations, staff that normally would be handling school shots have been temporarily reassigned to help with COVID-19. The Immunization Clinic will resume Monday 7/27.

I had seen some info on Facebook from some parents that the kid brought it to school to basically threaten a kid who has bullying him and was possibly going to 'slam him down' after school. I CANNOT CONFIRM that that is the actual situation but I did read that (confirmed news story below)...

Today there was allegedly a threat made via Snapchat indicating someone was perhaps planning a school shooting at Senior High. I didn't see the snapchat, so I'm not sure how implied or direct the threat was. To me, it doesn't matter. Considering the number of lives lost to this sort of tragedy, nothing can be ignored anymore...

Back to school time is here, and with that in mind here are a few reminders for everyone. Thousands of people from kids to adults deal with school in one way or another.
