The National Weather Service here in Billings has reported a Hazardous Weather Outlook for South-central Montana and Northern Wyoming detailing significant amounts of precipitation, including snow in the mountains.
Before temps are forecast to jump back up into the 80's by the weekend, Billings will be cold and soggy through Wednesday (9/11), with heavy snow possible in the mountains.
What's shaping up to be a historic spring storm could bring feet of snow to areas of Montana over the next 48 hours. Winter Storm Wesley is expected to have blizzard-like conditions in the plains on Wednesday with 1-2 feet of snow and wind gusts up to 60 mph possible.
