The Election is – finally – almost over!

I've mentioned this on my show a few times in the past week or two about how I'm pretty sure I'm suffering from "voter fatigue".  I'm sure I'm not alone.  It seems like this mid-term election has been especially brutal, with non-stop attack ads from everybody, lol.  The amount of money spent by all candidates in the state is astounding.  I've heard over $50 million, but I would guess even more. I wish they would outlaw the super PACS, but I don't see that happening any time soon.  Imagine how much more civil the process would be if we didn't have non-stop ads on radio, internet and TV. Without  all those slick ads, how would we ever know who to vote for? Ha!

I will definitely be watching the election coverage till I fall asleep tonight. According to the polls, some of the results will be really close. Talk about reality TV! It doesn't get much more real than this. May your candidate win... and if not, can we still be friends tomorrow?
