Man, remember Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?

My family used to watch that show all the time back in the day - I don't remember exactly when it ended, but I know they ended up doing a celebrity version of it a little later on. And, doing some research, it looks like they brought the show back on Nickelodeon a couple of years ago? But for me, thinking back on the show makes it feel like such a long time ago.

The reason I bring it up is that Travelers' Rest State Park in Lolo is channeling the spirit of Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? with an upcoming event aimed at kids - it's called Are You Smarter Than A Park Ranger?

You can probably figure out from there what this is going to be - kids get to test their nature knowledge with trivia questions against a park ranger (and there are prizes to be won)!

And here's another cool thing about it - it's totally free. Actually, all of the Trekker Kids event series at Travelers' Rest are free, they're a great way to keep kids entertained and active during the summer months.

If you want to bring the kids and check it out, this'll be happening from 11 AM to 12 PM on Sunday, August 29th at Travelers' Rest. You can learn more by checking out their Facebook event page or by visiting them at their website.
