Try a Little Kindness

Many years ago I ran across a small book titled "Life's Little Instruction Booklet." It was filled with acts of kindness that people should try to do as they go through their life.

Watch a sunrise at least once a year. Send out Valentine's cards and sign them "Someone who thinks that you're terrific." Feed a stranger's expired parking meter.

Some years later I would run into a poster with a bunch of these sayings. It hangs in my house to this day.

At the very bottom of the poster is the last one. "Call your mom."
