It's another day in the fly-tying world and this time we are moving up from the ever-effective San Juan worm.

This time we decided to move up into streamers. The bugger and the leach. An odd friendship that actually can work in unison and other times areas take one and not the other. Really though, you never know what will work when it comes to flies.

I learned the polar leach and bugger which are effective small streamers. A streamer can be identified as a couple things but a common definition is, "A fishing fly that imitates a baitfish."
