I was born in the southern U.S. and raised by a 21 year Marine Corps Vietnam Vet and his hard working, successful, Tennessee born bride. They set the bar pretty high for their three kids...so I decided to just walk under it and go into radio at age 16. After years of "town to town, up and down the dial", I made my way to Billings in 2005. That turned out to be the best decision I ever made. It lead to a great job, and the love of my life, my daughter, Eliana. I'm happy to be raising her in a place with a great mix of conservative family values and progressive ideas about inclusion and embracing the differences in people (provided they are not too liberal or from California).

As we take in the news of the day, we typically encounter references to large amount of money: $5.6 Billion for a wall, Jeff Bezos's $146 Billion net worth, $21 trillion national debt. We know those are big numbers, but how big?

Help Billings Get a Playground for All Kids
These days I realize that Richard was not only missing out on the physical things that his paralysis excluded him from, but he was also missing the chance to get to know other kids. It seemed like that was just another thing that a kid in a wheelchair had to endure; it seemed okay. That shouldn't be the case.
YouTube Banning Dangerous Challenge Videos
With some things I have the attitude "just let evolution do its job", and it will with a lot of these people, but I think youtube taking away this massive platform will discourage people who are banking on going viral and cashing in.
Here’s Why It’s a Great Time to Hit the Billings’ Thrift Stores
For some reason, I watched a show on Netflix recently called "Tidying Up" with Marie Kondo. I had never heard of Marie, and have no idea what possessed me to try watching a show about someone cleaning someone else's house; however, I did just that.

Tinder Tutorials
Kaitlyn is always reading some of her latest Tinder attempts to Jeff and me and some of them are absolutely horrible. I'm not talking horribly cheesy (plenty of those too), I mean straight up raunchy.
If Billings Apartment Brochures Were Accurate
Kaitlyn and I were about to talk about buying a home instead of renting (thanks to our sponsor First Federal Bank and Trust ) when I mentioned that apartment ads would likely sound a little different if they were written by actual tenants. We received quite a few and I wanted to share a couple here. A couple of them mentioned the name of the complex they were talking about, which I have omitted just in case they still live there, but I think these ads would fit quite a few places in any city in America

Of course, this means that in addition to the warm temps and lovely scenery, dating season is about to kick in full force. Some of us single people might need a bit of a refresher if we want a shot at real romance.
