I was born in the southern U.S. and raised by a 21 year Marine Corps Vietnam Vet and his hard working, successful, Tennessee born bride. They set the bar pretty high for their three kids...so I decided to just walk under it and go into radio at age 16. After years of "town to town, up and down the dial", I made my way to Billings in 2005. That turned out to be the best decision I ever made. It lead to a great job, and the love of my life, my daughter, Eliana. I'm happy to be raising her in a place with a great mix of conservative family values and progressive ideas about inclusion and embracing the differences in people (provided they are not too liberal or from California).

Kids are going crazy for this show and Kiss FM has free tickets. We've still got a pair left that we'll give away before they go on sale this morning, but we'll also have more chances to win next week.
Getting Fired By Email?
According to a study of millennials, most actually prefer to be fired by text or e-mail rather than face to face. I understand that some people don't like conflict, struggle with anxiety or other issues that make that situation tough, but I say that's letting them off way too easy
How I Got Heart Healthier By Accident
Part of my "Be a better person in 2018" resolution was to give blood on a regular basis. When you donate blood (at least when you donate at United Blood Services), you have access to your cholesterol numbers. I was in a couple of weeks ago and nervously asked what my number was. "192", they said. That didn't mean a lot to me since I honestly have never looked at it before. I asked if they happened to still have my stats from the year before. She was able to pull the number no problem and it was 247. Once again, didn't mean much until I walked away and did some googling.
The Simple Solution To The School Walk-Out
Facebook is lit up with people talking about the planned Billings' high schools walk-out on March 14th. Many people seem proud that students are showing their concern and demanding change to keep schools safer, but there seem to be just as many crying "Suspend Them!" or "I'll sue the school if they let my kid walk out", etc.
Win Luke Bryan Tickets With Kris and Kaitlyn
We've been doing this all week and tomorrow morning is your last chance to win them before they go on sale 2/23 at 10am. We'll have them right around 7:35, so be ready.
Telemarketers Spoofing My Number
Recently, I started getting daily calls from phone numbers that are one digit away from mine. My number ends with 3182 and I'll get calls from 3181 or 3183. Like many people. more often than not I ignore calls from numbers I don't know, but curiosity got the better of me and I answered one of them. The first time, it was an actual human asking why my number had called him several times that day. I told him that I hadn't called him and he must've already known about spoofing because he didn't need anymore explanation, he just said, "Okay, cool" and hung up.
Manly Or Just Gross
Today I'm going in for a consultation to see what the process would be like to get rid of this stuff. I do have a question for those with any romantic interest in man backs; is back hair unattractive? I know there are plenty of ladies who want their guy to be on the rugged side and find a hairy chest appealing, but even those ladies I would think wouldn't miss their mans posterior carpet.
Gambling Addicts In Billings
I'm not much of a gambler. In fact, I'd say that I've gambled less than 20 bucks away in this town, but for those with a problem, this must be a tough place to live. There is apparently no shortage of people who enjoy feeding the thousands of machines in Billings, keeping the casinos thriving.
MRM Mystery Bags – Are They Worth It?
Yesterday, Kaitlyn and I were out at MRM and I picked up a couple of "Mystery Grab Bags" for both of my partners here. Kaitlyn is like a 6 year old and has rambled on about what could be in the bags for hours. I'm pretty certain that what's in the bags are things that they couldn't sell when they were actually visible, so it was decided to obscure them with a bag.
Drive Thru Groceries Coming To Billings
With brick and mortar stores trying to compete with the convenience of online shopping, I think things like this are a good move. I like the option to do all my shopping and paying online, while still getting the satisfaction of instant gratification and shopping local.
